@PeterRu
No one voted for this shit.
We voted Labour to #GTTO, not just a change of logo.
Can we have a #Revolution yet? It’s been 15 years in the making. We must be ready by now.
> Over 60 Reform UK candidates in local elections are Tory defectors, study finds
> Nineteen of the 23 councils up for election this May are run by the Conservatives.

One month to go till the County Council elections. For the counties that haven't cancelled them because they want to fast track the conversion to Unitary councils and mayors.

2) #KRO Keep Reform Out. Solution to Blue Tories is not even more extreme Pale-Blue Tories
3) #GLO Get Labour Out. Punish Red Tories for being the same as Blue Tories
Vote LibDem, Green to do the right thing.
#GTTO out though huh, am I right guys, huh, AM I RIGHT
You can hate the Red Tories just as much as the Blue Tories. The solution isn't the even more extreme Pale Blue Tories.
#ATAC All Tories are Hunts #GTTO Get The Tory Out
#ARAB All Reform are illegitimate. #KRO Keep Reform Out
#GLO Get Labour Out. Punish the Red Tories for being the same as the Blue Tories.
If you don't vote at all, you will just get more of the same. Or worse.
@Gaudy I vote green locally. I voted Labour to #GTTO which worked. But they didn't finish the job. And now I hate them (and myself!) for them turning into Red Tories. I was briefly a Labour member until disgust with their Brexit views forced me to cancel.
I desperately want PR so I don't have to keep making these choices. But PR has it's own problems. In the UK, it would probably fuel the extreme right as much as bring back a real Centre-Left.
The MSM stories about the Rise of Reform UK Ltd are terrifying. We need to #GTTO but also #KRF (Keep Reform Out).
> The breakdown of Reform voters found that they were a coalition of newer, more moderate voters and “radical young men” inspired by the likes of Elon Musk, as well as older groups of Conservative and working-class voters opposed to immigration.
Oh my daze. “radical young men inspired by Musk" !?!? And Russian bots.
we voted for change and we got more of the same.
This #RightWing #Labour government is turning out more or less as expected
- Attacking migrants
- Economic oppression: https://www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2024/08/21/we-will-all-pay-a-very-high-price-for-rachel-reeves-vanity/
Though a slight improvement on #Israel policy, responding to the #independent voters:
- UNWRA funding restored
- UK withdrew objection to #netenyahu #ICC case
- *Perhaps* reconsidering arms exports https://www.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/aug/06/uk-arms-export-licence-applications-israel-review
The #GTTO Labour voters who failed to reject #WesStreeting, for example, have something to answer for.
This is one thing that made #GTTO so important and worthwhile.
So much more to do though.

[2/2] One of the #VoteCorbyn canvassers on this first board running session reported a voter telling him, "I love Corbyn but I always vote Labour and I'll be voting Labour this time." People often claim that constituency politics is good because you vote for a local candidate rather than a national party, but very often voters fixate on the rosette colour or national issues like #GTTO. I was starting to understand how the opinion poll showed Labour with a 13% lead.
