My #Goose takes: I think they are aspiring to create an American Beauty. EMG doesn’t deliver to that, but you can taste the artistic effort being put in. I also got Tame Impala vibes on EMG, which I would like them to explore more than the Bon Iver path.

First listen to #Goose's EMG album bullets

- Dustin Hoffman is the highlight for me, probably just cause it's new
- Dig the way Everything Must Go came out
- Horns are a great add most everywhere we get them
- This Thatch does not fuck
- Why is Animal almost 8 minutes long?
- This could easily have been an album + EP, maybe even two albums
- Complaints aside, a decent showing. Wouldn't hate for one of these singles to break through to mainstream

Having now heard “California Magic” as a swampy, N’awlins style brass band jam, I can no longer hear it without swampy N’awlins style brass. It sounds great and #Goose needs to do a tour with horns.
