Other large corporations lost stock value according to their dependency on global trade based on the US economy.

$5Tn lost in the past TWO DAYS. That represents, roughly 16% of the US GDP ($30.3Tn Dec 2024). Total loss is about 27% of the US GDP. The US economy represents just about 1/3 of Global GDP. Yes, 10% off the World's economy, in a fell swoop.
NEVER, at any point of American History such damage was done to US Economy, by any "leadership".
