@MarkHoltom It is _so hard_ to make Google translate say "engineer" in the female form.
It's less difficult than it used to be. It used to change "She is an engineer" directly to "He is an engineer. Today, it gets that much right. But it's still a struggle.
If you enter "The engineer puts on her trousers," it changes it to "L'ingénieur a mis son pantalon," using the male form of engineer. And if you swap it to put it back to English, it's "the engineer puts on his trousers." And so on.
