"One thing I've never understood: if these things really are high tech flying machines made by a superior culture... why do they keep crashing and leaving debris?"
I am no authority, but I have studied the #UAP #phenomenon extensively and I have seen UFO(s) twice with my own eyes and probably two more times (the other two may not have been a UFO with certainty).
1. There are allegedly multiple species/#NHI visitors. Some may be barely above our tech, some may be on the decline, some are so advanced they are pan-dimensional.
At least one species allegedly lost the ability to make more vessels so theirs are ancient shit boxes.
2. Many of these are highly susceptible to high power microwave radiation, the Rayethon orbital radar installation in Oceania is called "The Bug zapper" because it can tighten up the beam into what is in essence a high energy beam weapon. In fact the Roswell crash reputedly was caused by our radar.
3. These are not combat assault ships, think of them more like Captain Cooks row boats or Farming (sic!) equipment like tractors. A low tech spear will deal with both.
4. The theory that I like especially is "key in the gorilla cage" analogy. The "crashes" are in fact a deliberate effort by a #NHI faction to throw a key into a gorilla cage. To see what the ape will do, or even their version of animal liberation activists.
5. A nuke is a nuke. The Starfish stratosphere nuke test reputedly brought down one that was following our ballistic missile tests.
There were three planes filming it and allegedly the craft crashed and was recovered.
6. Some of these are apparently multi dimensional. We have no idea what entering into lower dimension does. You are not operating in your own domain so even for high tech species, this may be a perilous and fragile journey. Like diving to the bottom of the ocean is for us.
7. There are recorded instances of UAP to UAP fights. One witnessed in my own town, with a crash that followed.
No easy answers, but plenty of speculation and evidence (though not proof as most people would agree).
If you want a trip down the rabbit hole and Nazi #occult
Magenta in Italy was the first recorded modern #UAP crash in 1933.
There were Italian, and presumably Nazi scientists working on #UFO long before it became a thing.
The Magenta saucer was conveyed to US with the intervention of the pope.
Interestingly, the most credible authority (Jacques Vallee) on UFOs current position on #NHI and mythos/occult is that they are one and the same.
So Nazis/Occult/High tech is not such a random chain as you'd think.

As I’ve tried to understand MCP, I am struck by something, and I am wondering if I’m somehow not finding crucial literature (or it's not prominently featured enough). The majority of what I read talks about orgs standing up a local MCP server in front of their various services. What I am barely seeing is guidance on how those MCP servers should be designed/deployed to securely protect the access credentials (API Keys, SSH Keys, or long-lived tokens) the MCP server will need to accomplish this. Am I missing something, or are we speedrunning towards a new #security nightmare?

The insatiable hunger to feed #LLMs and #AI is parasitically draining the commons and public internet. Bandwidth costs are spiking as crawlers take data for training and information. For Wikipedia, the lack of attribution means no visitors, no donors, just cost. The #ethics of AI are failing here.
I saw Tim Karr on bluesky suggest that AIs should pay fees or a tax (should that be tariffs?) into a fund that supports public content. Services like Cloudflare and Fastly that defend against bots are evolving for crawlers. In #identity, the implications for #AgenticAI, #AI, and #NHI are vast.

Very hot day, just after sunset, super clear sky, people everywhere. I was driving south down the coast when I saw a "ligh plane" just over the sea heading NW to SE. We get a few of them, regional flights, shark patrols (not this late).
What caught my eye is the weird strobe pattern, right in the middle of the wings on each side. In addition to the usual navigation lights.
I pulled to the side of the road, the thing was moving very slowly.
But when I tried to find it in the sky it was gone, it shouldn't have moved. Just disappeared.
The area is marked with the red dot.
You will note it was heading towards the port. The ones in Denmark were seen over the port too. I wouldn't be surprised if a ship was being loaded for #Ukraine. We are called "Defence state".
Unlike the traitorous #US, Aussies still support Ukraine.
Apparently, they have not gone away, but it was weird seeing it right over my head.
Oh, I also live right under the flight path... For 30 years. I know what planes look like.
There is an offchance it was a student plane that switched off it's transponder, so I will give it 50% likelihood.
