ケータイ Watch · 懲りずにGalaxy S24 Ultraの楽しいケースを買ってしまった 去年まで折り畳みスマホのGalaxy Z Fold 4がメインの愛機だったが、1年以上経過してヒンジが180度開かなくなり修理に持って行った。驚いたのは“ヒンジは見開きのディスプレイ2枚もセットの交換部品です”ということ。何も問題なかったディスプレイまで交換の対象に含まれてしまい、修理額は軽く12万円オーバーとなり修理を断念。

٩(˘◡˘)۶ OK, I thought about it and I think I would embrace using #Docker or a similar container system if it would be integrated in the OS very well. If I could drag and drop an app into a container, adjust "permissions" of containers in a simple #GUI list, etc.
Yes, I know of the advantages of CLIs but it's easier to get used to a new concept with visual clicky UIs. And since I don't have a real need for docker, nothing is pushing me over the hurdle to start getting used to the necessary commands.
I guess this sort of #OS integration only comes in the form of restricting single app containers with mandatory use of closed app stores, like on iOS. But there are can be a middle way, as various open app stores for #Android show. That's not like Docker though and I wouldn't want to switch to a system that requires those containers any time soon.
