Ich wurde von Sabrina zu #PRISM interviewt! Sabrina habe ich 2018 kennengelernt, als ich "D9E - der loganische Krieg" bei einem Online-Event vorgestellt habe. Sie hat damals an einem Gewinnspiel teilgenommen, bei dem sie einer wichtigen Nebenfigur aus "Gefangen im Dilemma" einen Namen geben durfte.
Seitdem halten wir Kontakt und ich freu mir immer einen Keks, was Buchiges mit ihr machen zu dürfen. Wie eben dieses Interview:

Slidet mir unbedingt in die DMs (hier, auf Discord), ich will wissen, wie es euch gefällt. (Ich bin ziemlich neugierig.)

Die Grafik ist größtenteils schwarz, ganz unten erhebt sich ein blauer Würfel aus der Dunkelheit, auf dem in Türkis das Verlagslogo von "ohneohren" klebt. Über dem Würfel ist in vertikaler, digital wirkender Schrift in Großbuchstaben PRISM zu lesen. Die Schrift verlauft in einem bunten Prismamuster. PRISM ist offiziell draußen!

Hurra!

Falls ihr das eBook vorbestellt habt, wurde es inzwischen an eure Handys, Tablets und Reader zugestellt. Ich freue mich auch schon darauf, wenn Leute dann die Prints auspacken. Vor allem, weil ich rein zufällig weiß, dass dieses Buch im Print geradezu unerhört hübsch wird.

Ich habe jetzt also noch die letzten Dinge getan, die ich hier auf der Homepage mache, wann immer ein neues Buch erscheint – die Seite zum Buch mit Content Notes angereichert und sie im Menü von den aktuellen Projekten zu den Veröffentlichungen geschoben. Auf der Übersichtsseite der aktuellen Projekte dann den Verweis zu PRISM gelöscht und stattdessen auf der Überblicksseite der Romane und Novellen eingefügt. (Ja, das sind viele interne Verlinkungen, aber ich wollte sichtbar machen, an wie vielen Stellen ich etwas anpassen musste.)

Bei der Gelegenheit habe ich gesehen, dass ich 2024 gar keine Veröffentlichung hatte. Erstaunlich, dass „Stahllilie 3“ auch schon so lange her ist.

Die nächsten Science-Fiction-Ideen sind auch schon notiert, und ein Manuskript will überarbeitet werden. Aber … langsam. Ich tue im Hintergrund beispielsweise an einem ganz neuen spannenden Projekt werkeln. Sobald das durch ist, poste ich hier was dazu!

Ich darf ein Buchzitat leaken, das vom großartigen Team hinter Verlag #Ohneohren schick in Szene gesetzt worden ist.

Macht euch das schon neugierig auf #PRISM ?

Vor einem dunklen Hintergrund mit blauem, irgendwie digital aussehendem Netz aus Lichtpunkten sieht man, hellgrau, Illustrationen eines Computermonitors und eines kleinen Würfels, die mit einem bunten Kabel verbunden sind. Über dem Monitor steht, ebenso grau: “April 2025”

Auf dem Bildschirm wiederum sieht man erst einen pastell-regenbogenfarbenen Hintergrund, dann folgendes Zitat: "Es war falsch.

Make sure you don't only talk about social media when you talk about differences to 1920s.

There are many things that are either too ubiquous or hidden or too specialized in everyday use:
* useful encryption (unavailable before 1970s)
* LAN networks and popular internet (late 1990s), Tor (2002)
* directories, crawling based search (1998) and web 2.0 (coined in 2004, mainstream crash)
* web in our pocket (iPhone in 2006)
* crypto currencies (since 2009, intl. fallback where banking systems fail)
* web shops, online banking, ERMs, crowd funding ...

Now, in this world, power (Macht) means to know and care about hierarchical/centralized structures such as physical backbones (cables, antennas, fibers, satellites), search engines and their results, influencers and their funding, central certificate authorities, hardware production, crypto security...

#Apple has integrated #Govware #Backdoors for #iOS and served their customers.in the "P.R." China on a silver platter to the government.

The sheer ability and willingness of Apple to do this makes them inherently untrustworty.

If they cared about #privacy amd #security they'd never been a #PRISM collaborator and rather pulled out of #China than deepthroated Beijing's boots!

#iOS is not like @GrapheneOS where you have means to audit it's integrity on the fly built-in.
