UtoxinI'm clearly diving deep into nostalgia as part of my recovery after losing my wife. But so far... I think I'm okay with it. It's been wonderful, and I've reconnected with people I hadn't talked with in years.Today, I ordered another piece of my old fandom hobby life, that I wish hadn't died off. Logres Weyr was a fantastically talented group of writers and artists, and I got to be part of them for a brief period of time. Bruh-soka TanoAlright, that's it. I'm halfway through the second of his 3rd Pass novels and I'm done with the Todd McCaffery books. I can't take any more of the bastardization of Pern. It reads like fan fiction with all the bad writing and inane retconning. Flying whers that can go between? The final straw was firestone that bursts in to flame if it gets wet.
