Psychonauts 2 #psychonauts2

Sequel (if like me, you ignore the VR point and click game that I didn't know exist before starting this one) to Psychonauts, which was the game I liked, turned out to be another game I like.

There's nothing special that will make me remember this game for long time, but the gameplay was entertaining, exploring the game world was fun and story was good enough to keep me going.

It's almost like standard example of 8/10 game for me. I had fun - moving on!

It took changing my battery settings (for some reason) to be able to run this without my laptop being upset but finally started Psychonauts 2! Played Psychonauts for the first time late last year and it instantly became one of my favourite games ever so I'm glad to finally be playing 2 and I'm enjoying it alot! It looks great (even with graphics settings turned down) and really love the music and writing so far! and although I'm finding it more challenging than the first game, the challenge is just making it more fun!

I hope I can go back to this level, I left some stuff bags untagged 😬 but this was definitely a fun start to this game! The Pillinko and the Hearts race were the most fun. This boss fight was also surprisingly fun. I figured it out a bit of by accident, after tapping the wrong button which turned out to be the right button 😄

Today's #soundtrack is the Psychonauts 2 OST by Peter McConnell et al.

This album is gorgeous, sublime, and experimental. It feels like if Mahavishnu Orchestra were given a budget, told to stay off the drugs, and polished to a mirror shine.

Stoner dust-rock one minute, big band jive the next, all topped off by a meaningful swing.

A skilled composer, a huge body of talent upon which to draw inspiration, and a performance which rivals the LSO.
