I've taken on a major project & have been very busy but having fun. Unfortunately, I'll have much less time to photograph #SpringFlowers like this red maple form yesterday.

One of the best aspects of #photography is that you spend a lot of time noticing. Prior to photography, I never paid attention to overwintered plants like these seed pods (sweetgum?) from Friday. You miss a lot when you don't notice. Like the beauty of overwintered plants.

Premier jour de printemps. Premier arc-en-ciel. Bonne soirée.
There's something reassuring about seeing crocuses bursting forth from between fallen leaves. It makes me feel good. I always like to lie down in the leaves next to them when I take photographs and experience that renewal on a more intimate scale 
.

The crocus carpets are in full force in my friend's garden. He must have 100s all over his yard.
Got a bunch of spring projects to get going on so my SM presence will be sporadic for a couple months.
