ColinI somehow missed this project at <a href="https://birdbutt.com/tags/VCFMW" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#VCFMW</a> but learned about it from <a href="https://bitbang.social/@kefkafloyd" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@kefkafloyd</a>'s recent YT vid providing coverage/overview of the event.<a href="https://tempestfpga.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank">https://tempestfpga.com/</a> - their WiFi RetroModem! All that original Hayes (and soon USRobotics Sportster) <a href="https://birdbutt.com/tags/DialUp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#DialUp</a> <a href="https://birdbutt.com/tags/Modem" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Modem</a> goodness but with built-in wifi thanks to esp module. Would solve some (retro) headaches and get a really neat final product. Love how many neat boards are being developed by folks right now.
