Something good just happened...
I realized I've been spending too much time just living in the future recently...
At one point a couple days ago I started watching a street view video from Osaka and that had me living more in the moment and realizing what it means to live in the moment... Specifically experiencing the things around you, doing things because they are joyfull, meaningful, satisfactory, wonderful, etc... And appreciating what you have. It actually made me decide have some herbal tea and I just felt good...

But then something happened earlier today... I did something else which is to realize I have been disconnecting from the past recently too... Not really thinking about the past... whereas I used to spend a lot of time trying to live up to the past and I do find some joy and meaning in that...
I sort of married the concepts and I thought of things like my first room maker lab and specifically this time I believe it was at the sacramento convention center area where I was getting a shot and I wandered off on a walk on my own away from my family and it was sunny and warm and I was listening to good music and I was really enjoying myself... eventually I had to send my dad my location as I was walking and he drove to pick me up...

I saw that it was sunny out today, I remembered what it used to mean to me to go on long walks in the sun around this area while listening to books like Kapital and stuff like that... I thought about yesterday listening to the deprogram while taking out the garbage and how that made me start to realize there is more out there...
So it was about 1:30 and I got my walking shoes on, got my ice water ready. I decided that I want to live a little, have an experience... And I did. Because also recently I realized my problem is that I dont really have meaning in life anymore... things have been changing in life for me so fast that my mind has struggled to keep up... I realized that I'm only gonna get meaning with time, space, freedom intellectually and otherwise, and it definitely helps to live a little and experience things too without too many constraints...

So I went on my walk its a hour walk in a loop with a couple of bridges and hills and stuff like that. It's about 3 miles total... afterwards I tend to be fairly sweaty but its not really strenuous like backpacking is but maybe it would be more so if I were to wear weights or something which is an idea I had and I'm interested in trying after I've walked some more again...

I mostly had some pretty good thoughts on the walk and for the most part it was pretty enjoyable... there was a point where my mind kinda went to an unpleasant place but that wasn't the majority of the walk and it didn't take that long to pass... Maybe it being sunny and warm and early in the day helped...

So it was pretty good. I decided to live a little for change and it was worth it.
I will continue to try to strike a balance between living in the past/present/future and I will continue to find meaning in life which will help me to live a better life in knowing how to spend my time and making decisions/charting a path forward and being thoughtful and intelligent...

I may take up walking again also... I could even do it in the bay area or if I had a car eventually I could do it wherever I want... I really wish self-driving cars were a thing personally...
