Auridon Yarns

A little sock-update today: I’m slowly but steadily progressing towards the cuffs of my socks. I’m hoping the fire red will pop up soon to complete the hue. The 25g gradient dyes are a little bit too much for a sock, so I’m thinking I’ll stick to 20g per sock next time. I’ll be able to make cute sock packs in the future. What’s on your needles today?

I hope to show off something recent soon again, but until then, have some more older makes.
This one was super relaxing to make and now has a good home with my aunt, who jumped on it immediately, as she adored the colors. :-)

my relationship with yarn started in the 1990s. I’ve been knitting since I was young, and it is now my daily therapy. Even if I don’t make something useful, I’m accomplishing getting my mental health in check. I’m very thankful to my Nana who taught me how to knit and my dad who taught me how to stockpile, even though he didn’t know. He was always the king of buy it now or regret it later. I always have had FOMO and that’s how my yarn stash has gotten to the size it is. And let’s be honest, my relationship with yarn has been a lot better than my relationship with men. #Yarn #Relationship #MyLife #MyTherapy.

Spouse popped into A Darn Good Yarn to pick up yarn I need to finish a project, and they gave him one of their Trevithick Day freebies - cute stitch markers, a "handmade with love" label, and a yarn needle.

They're the sweetest, friendliest local yarn store folk we've met down this way and we love supporting them.

I'm hoping I'll get to have a peek at their rainbow wall while I'm here, which has 116 shades of one of their DK yarns!
