does anyone in my fediversephere have any knowledge about zoom text? a colleague is having trouble where his zoom text is bogging down the computer to the point where he must reinstall windows. He needs something for dull monitors, however. Is there a setting he can change? I have 0 knowledge so please be gentle.

Je l'ai installé sur un PC avec le script, ça roule tout seul !
Installer #Linux #Mint 21.3 xfce puis télécharger et lancer le script (lien dans post précédent).
Même souci qu'avec la version sur clé USB : la souris disparaît quand on arrive sur la barre de tâches. Linuxien noob et basique, je creuserai ça à l'occasion.
Habitué à #ZoomText, une vocalisation plus "humaine" me manque, mais c'est déjà bien !

#FusionRuinsComputers So, after around 2 years of use of an Asus Zen Book laptop that is supposed to be designed for graphics-intensive work, I now have probably around a $300 bill for a fan that has seized up, likely because it took so much work having to deal principally with the #ZoomText portion of #Fusion. I am now without a computer potentially for over a month! I bought this laptop *because* it was supposed to be able to handle graphics-intensive things like ZT. Not pleased…
