I was quoted in Business of Fashion last month, after reading the newsletter every morning for years.

Now after reading @daringfireball since the early 2000s, a toot I wrote this morning got linked to.

And yes I do sometimes have a love-hate relationship with that website but I've been reading it since I was a teenager, it's been a part of me, somehow, very few blogs survived this era or my changes of interests in my RSS reader.

I'm curious why attendance at this year's C++ Online conference (@cpponline) was not higher.

For me, the online format makes it more accessible—no travel and a low fee—while still providing opportunities to connect with other C++ professionals in the virtual venue.

Sinon, je rentre d'une journée grenier de maman + zone commerciale de l'ameublement de l'enfer #tmtc. J'ai trouvé : des crochets pour mes clés + fringues à la salle de bains; 2 mini bacs pour le tri des poubelles (anciens ne rentrent pas dans les nouveaux placards); une poêle et une spatule en inox (yay !); ma vieille bibli et du matos "pourri mais ça permettra de se faire une idée avant d'investir" pour construire un nid de lecture pour fiston. Et ma mère m'a offert 3 primevères. Et refourgué un sac Ikea de vieux jouets qu'elle gardait depuis 30 ans (pour rien) à mettre à la boîte à troc.

Des lampes pour éclairer la nuit? Des meubles pour que mes gamins puissent ranger leurs habits qq part ? Chou blanc .

Non non mais ça progresse bien, cet emménagement, rassurez-vous. #bof

Après quelques jours sur Mastodon, j'y découvre les mêmes travers que sur tous les réseaux sociaux : beaucoup de gens sont là pour promouvoir quelque chose, même si ce sont des choses artistiques (pour l'instant), on sent que c'est se faire connaître qui les intéresse, avoir de l'audience ! Pas sûr que ce soit fait pour moi ! Finalement ça manque de débat, de partage qui ne soit pas nombriliste, pour être vraiment intéressant et viable !
