Yudderick & Co.A young hawk (possibly a Cooper's Hawk?) has been hanging around my back yard lately. All the birds, squirrels, and chipmunks have been scurrying around preparing for winter and likely look rather tasty. Named because he can be a bit gregarious with his feeding habits. It was raining today, so I wasn't sure if he'd approach the open door on the deck. Not a problem. In fact, he made several consecutive trips for his favorite foods - peanuts and chestnuts. If we're outside, he'll climb into our laps to feed.
