Can anyone recommend a good USB SDR on #aliexpress for my #clockworkpi #uConsole #cyberdeck ?
Un magnifique Cyberdeck Handheld DIY sous Raspberry Pi 5
Encore une très belle réalisation autour d'un RPI5, ce cyberdeck Handheld totalement artisanal est assez impressionnant.... #cyberdeck #diy

I just backed the —

(I "pre-ordered" both the 5" version and the 7" version.)

Watching the video one can almost smell Yeoman Rand's perfume.

This is cool!

A KickStarter for an open-source CyberDeck based on the Raspberry Pi and Linux. Actually 2 of them — a 5" version and a 7" version.
I love the retro look of these
Apparently this funded in 5 minutes! But, anyone can still get one.
I like that this also has a touch-screen. Many of the alternatives don't.

Needed away of organising my micro sd card collection in my new cyberdeck. Remixed a very nice micro sd card model I found and added dymo label spaces next to each card. Could also just write on it in sharpie #cyberdeck #microSDCard #3dprinting #printables https://www.printables.com/model/1186094-micro-sd-card-holder-dymo-labels

If you’ve been looking for a #cyberdeck, then you’ve got one more day to get in on the #Pilet #Kickstarter. They’ve already raised CA$1 million of their CA$20k goal… yeah. Popular is an understatement. #tech #raspberrypi #hardware https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/soulscircuit/pilet-opensource-modular-portable-mini-computer

Does anyone know someone who uses a cyberdeck-style computer for music production / performance?
They look soooo cool. But sometimes I wonder if they are only built for showing off and people don’t use them. Could look super cool on stage!
Or is it all MacBooks and Thinkpads?
The #cyberdeck project is finally coming together! This is my first test fit with my "v1.0" prints, sans paint of course. Everything lines up so far, and the rigidity across the three separate pieces is amazing with just the internal screws and front plate installed. I'm currently printing the display mount, but you can see the holes where that goes.
My last couple tasks are figuring out a 5Vdc supply for the secondary cooling fan, and installing momentary switches for the UPS and PC power on. Also a few hardware issues to sort out, but that's relatively trivial! Ohhh, and I still need to figure out why antiX doesn't recognize the display - Mint sees it, so I at least have a reference for a working distro.
Tagging @garrwolfdog again, thanks once more for the inspiration!
thinking about a custom split ortho #keyboard build.
has to be easy because i cant surface mount, only through hole solder. also low price because im cheap.
could be suitably futuristic scifi for a #cyberdeck too?
