Watching a recording of Washington Metrorail Safety Commission public mtg from 2 days ago. WMATA is trying to re-implement Automatic Train Operations (ATO) on the whole system. Current only on Red Line for data collection.
Surprisingly, there's been far more station overruns with ATO vs train operators in manual control, though number is dropping.
Either way, kinda interesting watching these public meetings. Should do this more often.
