Siguiente paso de abandono de la #Googledependencia, instalación de #Fdroid y ya he pasado de
* un podómetro con publicidad a otro sin publicidad y que manda continuamente notificaciones para que esté abierto he pasado a otro sin publicidad y totalmente discreto.
* Instalación de una versión de #Spotube más estable y más funcional que la que bajé de Google play
* Eliminación de Google translate y sustituido por #DeepL
* He bloqueado la Galería de fotos, creo que así no sube fotos a Google fotos.

Algún día espero poder cambiar a móvil sin sistema operativo de USA

can translate message, and almost of the time do the job.

But sometime he goes completely off the rails and doesn't know what he's doing. Such is the case with this message.

I already saw such bug, who occurs too often.

In leck of registering an DeepL Account I havn't tried this out, but the default translation is not good. It often remains untranslated words. What does still work languages can speak, it no hell on real foreign languages.

If you let the deepl API field empty you can save, but gui will throw an error. This may confuse other users. Maybe without API-code you can't save or set back to default?

You might know that #Fedilab runs its own translation server (using #LibreTranslate).
But did you know that the app also supports two other translators?

- #Lingva: you won't need extra steps though you can change the default instance.

- #DeepL: A more powerful translator. It's a paid service but you can get 500,000 characters per month for free.

Everything is configurable in settings Have a look to media descriptions).

Euh non. Étant basée en #Europe, la société pourrait proposer/imposer la variante #UK par défaut.

Pour l'espagnol ce n'est pas précisé, mais je suppose que c'est la variante européenne, pas une des nombreuses variantes d'Amérique latine.

Pour le portugais, je doute que la variante basique soit celle du Brésil.

Pour le français, aucune variante africaine (nombreuses) n'est proposée.

Etc.
