"Make It Easy on Yourself" is a #popular #song #written by #BurtBacharach and #HalDavid which was initially a Top 20 Pop and R&B hit for #JerryButler in 1962. The best-known version is the 1965 recording by #theWalkerBrothers, for whom it was a No. 1 UK and Canadian hit. #DionneWarwick, who made a #demo of the song in early 1962, later had a hit with it in 1970.

A friend and I are fooling around, developing an acoustic cover of Bulls On Parade. I made this kinda-shitty/kinda-fun utility track for us to work from at this stage. It has it all: pretty bad guitar (especially in some spots), weird whisper (there's a reason), and singing that doesn't really know what melody or harmony it wants to do. But I like it anyway.

D#14 (2025-03-30) #RomancingSaGa2 #demo

I remember trying out one or two of the original #FinalFantasyLegend #SaGa games for the #GameBoy a long time ago, but never played them to any significant degree. My 3 hours with this demo is definitely the most time I've invested in one.

Mixed feelings on it. Gameplay was perfectly fine, and the art looked good aside from the one-note female character designs. My character selection did nothing, tho'?

It makes me think "the designer loves red bustiers that show a lot of boobage, and also she's set up to be strangled by her own clothes." This turned out to do exactly nothing in the demo, however, as it was entirely about Emperor Leon and his son, Gerard.

She has that weird Rosa thing going, where she wields a longbow and casts healing magic, while wearing a corset plus boob-sock combo with hot pants for that Zettai Ryōiki thigh exposure. She has exactly three pieces of metal armor on the left side of her outfit: a shoulder pad, a piece of thigh armor, and a cup strapped to her left boob (with leather straps that squeeze the left one). I had a lot to say about this one, since it's so bizarre, but I guess that's female character design in these games for you...
