Joshua Earle, PhD<p>All of my <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/acadmic" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>acadmic</span></a> conferences this year are international. <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/fPET" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>fPET</span></a> is at TU Delft, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/4S" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>4S</span></a> is in Hawaii (technically in the states, but still 9 hours of flight time), and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/SPT" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SPT</span></a> is in Tokyo. None of them have remote options. With the current attitude toward Covid being *shrugemoji*, and the climate ramifications of that kind of travel (and Native Hawaiians begging people to stop visiting)... I simply cannot bring myself to do it. It's a bummer, though.</p>
