Was I wrong? In either case, yes, you can definitely carry on using XMPP withou gOgle. И вроде как оно работает, но <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Google" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#Google</a> отключил s2s. Если в Hangouts ей не дойдет, то в GMail почту придёт - там веб-интерфейс в углу висит.
