Hey, #Krita people and @krita_artists ! (And maybe #Inkscape people and @inkscape artists!)

I want to have a character's head coming out a frame/shape (a la the Disney VHS spines from the Old Times). I feel like there should be an easy way to do this, but so far all I've got is making a shape, pasting the character, pasting another shape on top, and kind of masking out the character. Doesn't feel optimal so I thought I'd ask. #help #artist #

My printer and my laptop are apparently mad at each other.

A few weeks ago I had no problem but today I plugged the printer's usb into my laptop and it automatically printed the right picture.
Then it refused to print my document and went full "I'm going to print stuff!" (left)

The printer worked normally with another computer.

Advice/explanation are most welcome!

I've asked before, but does anyone know how to configure GDM/Gnome to ignore my monitors searching for Inputs? The OSD setting for the displays doesn't work (it has a setting that does nothing) and when all 3 of them start searching for inputs when Windows/Linux tries to turn off the displays, they end up sending some signal that Gnome/GDM interprets as input relevant to unsleeping the displays. So the displays can never turn off on their own, without my own manual intervention.

On their own, at best they end up on a black screen but on; With GDM/Gnome being unaware that the monitors are getting a signal as far as I can tell. (Some sort of race condition here maybe?)

Plugged in using DisplayPort to an EVGA RTX 3070 using the latest official nVidia Driver.

Anyone else having issues with lists? Posts are still appearing in my home timeline despite selecting the option not to… used to work… #feditips #fediverse #mastodon #help @Mastodon @MastodonEngineering

Bon la team #ergol, j’ai un petit soucis de layout. Je suis en 5x3 + 3, homerow et j’ai une couche numpad à droite, sous le pouce droit, et une couche Fn en main droite et arrows en main gauche, sous le pouce gauche.
J’ai des difficultés d’enchaînement entre les chiffres et les symboles, vu que je dois déplacer mon pouce droit. Est-ce que si j’inverse les deux layers switch je règle mon soucis sans en créer d’autres d’après vous?
