Less than half of the people in Northern Ireland are sure that they want to stay part of the UK and over a third support a united Ireland.
Exclude don't knows and it's 58.5% to 41.5%. Still a long way off a majority and unlikely to meet the Good Friday Agreement criteria for a border poll.
So apparently the result is so close that they are delaying an announcement so that they can carry out a recheck of bundles from this count.
I wouldn't rule out a full recount.
The distribution of MacNeill's votes will be the final count. @HazelChu is 416 votes ahead of Aubrey McCarthy, both vying for the last seat

The NUI Panel is done and dusted - business as usual with Michael McDowell, Rónán Mullen and @aliceeire all re-elected.
The TCD Panel is getting very very tight in the last few counts.
@sadhbhoneill has been eliminated and her transfers are probably going to elect Lynn Ruane.
After Ruane's surplus is distributed it looks like one of the two Greens, @HazelChu and Ossian Smyth, will be eliminated, but their transfers might then elect the other one. @gavreilly
Apparently not all panels will be counted today in the Vocational Panels.
The schedule is: Cultural and Educational count today, Agricultural tomorrow, Labour Saturday, Industrial Sunday and Administrative panel on Monday.
So it will be Monday before we have the full make of the 27th Seanad Éireann

In summary, the five incumbents look set to be re-elected with one seat up for grabs in the TCD Panel. Aubrey McCarthy is in pole position but Hugo McNeill, @HazelChu, Ossian Smyth and @sadhbhoneill are all in the running
Hopefully the Green/Climate vote can consolidate to elect one of either Chu, Smyth or O'Neill but it could be a long count.
