ChromaticPoetry*3

Blogpost: blog.illestpreacha.com/napowri

For the 2nd set of Poems for #NaPoWriMo/ #NaPoGenMo 2025, the #p5js code visualizes the poem in the a chromatic communication format similar to this : colorscape.illestpreacha.com/p

For this variation, the poem structure is written three times and the images reflect the glitchiness of the sentences with each iteration

#Poem

Wishing Upon Stars
That Reaches Beyond
Under, Over, Around
Near and Far
Widening Through Process
Promoting New Context

Waiting Uses Spots
That Rounded Banana
Utter Only Aligns
Neat are Fad
Whisper, Thought Plaited
Pressure, Not Contact

Wasting Udon Speak
Tons Rushing Booked
Usurp over Bellow
Next ask Fad
Winnings Thinned Placing
Paintings Neo Context

🌈💾 "Garden of Possibilities" with osc()_peterson and hpunq for the visual !

The vibe is a chill mix between elements synthesized in #strudel and a few samples with groovy textures and glitchy sounds. For the first time in my life, I recorded the bass and kept the sample to reconstruct the bass line in code. 🎸✨

For the 1st of #NaPoWriMo/ #NaPoGenMo 2025, the #HydraVideoSynth code is written in the format of a #Soji : "A Korean verse form related to haiku and tanka and composed of three lines of 14-16 syllables each, for a total of 44-46 syllables." - Poetry Foundation

Join us on 8th April at Vivid Projects for a VCV Rack Creative Coding Circle. VCV Rack is a free and open source software modular synthesiser for creating algorithmic and generative music.

We will explore basic usage of the software, and explore the vast library of virtual modules that allow you to create complex, intricate soundscapes.

You will then have time to experiment, learn with others, and share what you've learnt with other attendees.

No coding experience necessary, 18+ only.

Requirements:
* A Windows, Mac, or Linux laptop (sorry, Chromebooks, phones or tablets will not work)
* Headphones
