#Apoxyomenos ('the Scraper')is an #athlete in the act of scraping sweat and dust from his body with the small curved instrument called a strigil.

This particular one was found by an amateur diver near one of #islands of #Losinj, #Croatia

After years of #restoration and #preservation it can now be viewed in a #museum dedicated specifically to it in #Losinj. Found at the end of the whole museum tour, in a “white room”:
