nigelwell, I have xmpp on a testing domain and it works as far as I can tell with monocles chat on Android. But right now movim is kicking my arse. Might a problem for another day. At least the prosdy config and instructions makes sense, unlike a lot projects that make a lot of assumptions about prior knowledge. Like Movim. It's hard when you don't know what you don't know. update: oh, so of course it was a single nginx line needed to pass fastcgi to php-fpm. Ah well its sorted now and I learned stuff ❤️ I find it pretty funny that I'd never attempt to self host a matrix server, nor mastodon or pixelfed... because the vague/non-specific instructions mean I can'teven work through beginning to understand how. I have run Pleroma/Akkoma, and writefreely, but now just have <a href="https://bssg.dragas.net/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">bssg</a> and <a href="https://comam.es/what-is-snac" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">snac</a> - and soon to be in production for family use I think: <a href="https://prosody.im/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">prosody</a> with <a href="https://movim.eu" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">movim</a>. Update 2: okay so encryption on multiple devices sucks, as expected. Ugh. Maybe not family-ready for production. More investigation required. Update 3 looks like a movie issue with omemo.... now set up on a new domain with all reasonable extensions installed. Gajim on desktop and Monocles on Android. Seems to work fine. I created a room to communicate with my Canadian friend through videoconference, but I don't know how to set up the chat to make the video icon always visible and ready to use. I have tried with the Conversations app, but same problem.

Je travaille moi même à un redesign du l'interface web de <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Libervia" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#Libervia</a>.Niveau fonctionnalités, je pense pas qu'on manque de grand chose, et c'est extensible de toute façon.
