I did a solo set of the country songs I’ve been writing. The crowd was inattentive, mostly straight-up drinkers. That’s good practice, though. If I don’t grab their attention, I need to tighten up my act and get them next time. It’s a much different experience than with the band. Nowhere to hide. I was happy with how I sang/played. No major fuck-ups. I did some local product placements as well, singing jingles I made up. I once saw George Jones hawking dog food onstage between songs. #musician
