#Nammo Lapua in #Finland will receive 22.5 million euros of #EU money to expand the production of 155mm artillery ammunition.
If the investments planned with the aid money are realized, ten times more ammunition will be produced in Finland than before the start of the war in #Ukraine.
Currently they product 5 times as much as pre-war. The new factory should be operational in 2026 and will also produce artillery grenades.
Maybe the Norwegian minister of education #Moe tried to make amends (after cutting budgets left and right) and wanted to put the gains back into the budget from his stock-trading that he bought in ammo-producer #Nammo ahead of a government-contract?
Anyways, he's now in hot water for insider-trading, and rightfully so, I'd guess.
