Anytype looks very interesting with p2p synchronization! It might replace multiples of software on my side: Obsidian Hoarder, Dayone, and Reminder. A self-hosted solution is available, too!

Are anyone using this solution?

I wonder if there is some sort of local web server that could render my personal local Obsidian notes in my web browser (local or remote if I expose to only my local network).

I guess this would allow for some interesting integration of linking to notes from some tasks app like Planka, if I wish to keep notes and tasks in separate apps but would like to link information from one to another for easy access.

I was getting pretty frustrated with how bad I have gotten at #MarvelSnap so I built up a whole stat-tracking workflow in #Obsidian over the weekend, and so far it's been pretty useful to understand the mistakes I'm making. I'll write about the whole setup on my blog sometime next week, but here's a peek at what it looks like.

I put stats into Obsidian file properties, and have the Dataview plugin (https://github.com/blacksmithgu/obsidian-dataview) extract them to get tabular visualizations. Initially I wanted the games to be rows in a table rather than individual pages but Dataview doesn't seem to have any support to extract rows from tables so I had to settle on this approach.

Oh man, Apostrophe app in Flathub is really awesome. I just wish it had a folder or vault workspace and a graph view like Obsidian. *phew*

J'ai donc enfin fait le premier Pillars of Eternity en entier. Qu'est ce que j'aime l'écriture d'Obsidian et cet univers ! J'ai commencé le 2eme et je pense sérieusement recommencer Avowed après.
C'est grâce à Avowed que je m'y suis remis et que j'ai appris à adorer le monde d'Eora. Ces jeux m'aident à oublier (en partie) ma depression, ça me fait beaucoup de bien.

Apple sagt, dass niemand auf die Daten der Nutzer zugreifen könne, noch nicht einmal Apple selbst. Dennoch liegen die eigenen Daten auf fremden Servern und sind der Kontrolle entzogen.

Dem gilt es Abhilfe zu schaffen ohne auf Funktionalität zu verzichten.

New version of iOS #Obsidian hasn’t crashed so far.

It's nice to see I've been listed as an example site on Blot! My site is run entirely in #Obsidian. https://blot.im/examples

For those not familiar with it, Blot is a paid service that turns a folder of Markdown files into a website. Yes, I still want to learn how to run my own Quartz-based site, but Blot is a good fit for now. No in-house dark mode, sadly.

I had forgotten that TestFlight allows me to install the Catalyst version of #Obsidian. Did that just then. Have read twice now that Obs crashes (it’s never done so for me before) so going to use it for a bit on mobile today and see if it happens here as well.

Also fiddling with #IceCubes for Masto. Unlikely to be better than Mona but “unlikely” things ain’t ever stopped me before.

(It DOES have the social keyboard available, though. Which Mona has apparently lost in the beta. Hmm.)
