The Old Gods have not returned. They never left. They were simply waiting for those whose blood and bones resonates with their voice heard in the forests and groves, rivers and standing stones, in the moon and stars and the rising and setting sun. Waiting for us to hear and return to them.

Wrapped in the mists of Fensalir,
Concealing all save that which must be seen,
I cast my offering to the inky water,
My troth, a vow by deed affirmed;
Through salty haze,
I see the ancient Queen,
And eyes transfixed,
I yield, yield,
To wyrd’s entwining way.
Where the pathway forked I paused and saw ahead along the branching way the summoning light. This path I trod and bent my shoulder to the hill, air cold with Skaldi‘s kisses. And cresting the barrow’s back, I halted at the sacred stones resounding with silent lore.

The IMAGO Show is coming back.
From January onwards, the show will be on air at Radio Schwarze Welle every 3rd Friday of the month between 6 and 7 p.m. (GMT+1/GMT+2).

So now my path finds me joining the Isle of Wight Order of Druids after a very timely mention of them over on Bluesky. I was at first hesitant. Many frown upon mingling the Norse and the Celtic. But a long time ago, I first heard of these Old Ways via the Celts. Thus I forge my story.
