#Drug Mfgr #GSK has reached $2.2bn #legalsettlement in US that is supposed to cover 93% of user cases brought thus far.

While this is a very informative article on #AMR and efforts #Kerala has been putting to control the #OTC sales of #AntiBiotics, and the challenges it faces through the other sources traces of Antibiotics seeping into people's daily life, it's recommendation for a solution looks very stupid.

It is for this reason that Kerala has to step back and enforce the modified 2013 H1 rule
This part completely baffles me. Kerala has already implemented 2011 H1 rule, which prohibits OTC sales of antibiotics. There is no need or point in going back on this. If other neighboring states can't implement 2011 H1 rule, they can certainly implement the modified 2013 H1 rules. I can't comprehend why Kerala should go back on what it has already done.
