🇫🇷 Un avant-goût d'un prochain article sur Friendica : le pittoresque village de Monreal dans l'Eifel en mai 2002. A cette époque, ce sont de petits autorails légers RS1 de TransRegio qui desservent l'Eifelquerbahn (transversale de l'Eifel) entre Anernach et Kaisersesch.

🇫🇷 Finalement, je me suis tenu à mon programme, reste la dernière partie, la lecture qui viendra après ce message. 🙂

Quelques photos ferroviaires faites lors de déplacements sur le terrain lors de ma formation en 2005 où en quelques jours, nous avions été voir de plus près diverses installations et procédures des réseaux étrangers limitrophes.

La gare de formation de Forest-Voitures est responsable pour les rames qui viennent garer depuis Bruxelles-Midi comme cet EuroNigt "Jan Kiepura" qui très brièvement (deux ans à peine) relia Bruxelles à Varsovie emmené par la locomotive polycourant de la série 16.

A Tournai, nous avions été voir les automotrices AM96 bi-courant (tranche 441-490) qui officient encore de nos jours sur les trains entre Tournai et Lille-Flandres. Ce fut aussi l'occasion de photographier deux diesel 77-78.

Enfin, nous avions été à Maastricht pour voir la procédure de départ des trains aux Pays-Bas et là, c'est un charmant petit locotracteur vert de Nedtrain que j'avais croisé.

🇬🇧 I could make everything I had on my list today, reading comes after I have posted this message. 🙂

During my schooling, we did make a visit at every neighbours networks to see installations and processes in railway operations.

Forest-Voitures/Vorst-Rijtuigen is the yard responsible for all trains ending or starting from Brussels-Midi like the ephemere EuroNight 349 "Jan Kiepura" that joined for a short time Brussels with Warsaw worked by oldtimer Class 16 which was capable of operating under 4 different voltages.

In Tournai, we had a look at the dual voltage EMU Class AM 96 (Nrs. 441-490) which still operating trains to Lille-Flandres in 2025. I also could photograph two Diesel Locomotives Class 77-78.

Finally, we went also to Maastricht to see how trains depart in the Netherlands and I could photograph that nice green shunter from Nedtrain.
