I’m only using one #Slack workspace these days, but this sucks…

“This is a notice that starting June 27th, 2025, messages and files older than one year will be deleted from your workspace if you remain on the free Slack plan. To retain access to content older than a year, your workspace needs to be on a Slack paid plan.”

…but also Slack sucks, so this isn’t surprising.

There seems to be no obvious way to get #Slack to tell me what three things I need to look at in the ocean of channels with unread messages and keyword alerts.

This fucking app seems designed to generate anxiety.

Go to your chat client settings, then to voice, and disable "gain control", it's being misinterpreted as mute/unmute by many headsets.
