Jake Averill<p>So, following some bad times with <a href="https://toot.wales/tags/23cms" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>23cms</span></a> and a <a href="https://toot.wales/tags/SOTA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SOTA</span></a> summit on the previous attempt, this time I activated Penycloddiau. Just the included PCB antenna connected directly to the SGLab transverter. <br>This worked far better and even without putting an alert out or being spotted, I had two QSOs on 23cms FM without issue. <br>Unfortunately I couldn't complete the activation on 23, so I made a further two QSOs on 2m via my FT70D to complete the activation. <br><a href="https://toot.wales/tags/HamRadio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>HamRadio</span></a> <a href="https://toot.wales/tags/HamR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>HamR</span></a> <a href="https://toot.wales/tags/AmateurRadio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AmateurRadio</span></a></p>
