It was taking unusually long but it was loading my CPU alright.
Huh, it really shouldn't be taking *this* long.

Oh, I was in my home directory O.o

Off to finding all the repos with Nix files in them I have on this machine to undo that...

Today I screwed up by accidentally dropping my 18 TB Seagate Expansion hard drive I bought for $300. It hit the wall, but I caught it before it hit the floor. Unfortunately, it was already too late, because now it's dead.

I've accepted the fact that it was my fault for dropping it, but it still stings because it was such an expensive hard drive. I bought it when it was heavily discounted. It's also the largest hard drive I own, too.

I'm not too worried about data loss. I treated that drive like a scratch disk anyway, so there wasn't too much precious data that was lost. But even so, I'm still mourning the loss of that hard drive that I haven't even had for a year.
