is there a way to see the toots, and only the toots of a person?
there's an option in the user's profile saying "toots", but that also lists boosts/reposts, which it is not what I want, only the original toots from a given person.

Please think about: the #Fediversum is a gigantic #Network from privat accounts. #Mastodon is one #instance of them. There are not algorithems to spreed your #toots, only #RT/ #Retoots gives them spreeding around the world. So please, spreed what you like, to give the network power ;)

Letzter großer Auftritt beim #Fasching abgehakt. Hab jetzt wieder Zeit für #Toots und #Politik. 
Ich bin ja auch viel auf #Facebook politisch unterwegs und das DEUTLICH aggressiver als hier. Querdenker vorführen, Fakeprofile beleidigen etc. Dazu natürlich sehr viel Werbung für #Habeck.

The web component now takes a single attribute "url" for retrieving a list of #toots. This way
- the component need not compose the url from attributes,
- you can use even more query parameters, and
- you can not only embed accounts but also timelines, tags, toot contexts.
In hindsight I'm wondering why I ever hid the (more powerful, well-known and documented) mastodon API URLs behind my own (less powerful and only slightly more readable) facade.

No hace mucho, la verdad no recuerdo hace cuánto, una persona había compartido que había desarrollado una pequeña «aplicación» (así como yo la entiendo y le llamo) donde uno la ligaba a la instancia de #mastodon a la cual pertenece, empieza a escribir, y el software indicaba y separaba el texto en diferentes #toots de manera automática, si así lo configurabas, o de manera manual.
Me parecía muy piola la propuesta, quería probarla, pero revisando en mis toots marcados/guardados veo que no están los posteos de esta persona no sé es que pensé que los guardé y nunca lo hice, o quizás porque ya eliminó los toots.
¿Me ayudarían a buscar por favor?

Una de las funciones que más me gustan de #Mastodon es el autoeliminado de #Toots cada cierto tiempo predefinido.
Aveces acumulamos más de lo que deberíamos, lo que me ha llevado a pensar lo importante que es concientizar a los usuarios sobre la presiòn creciente que nuestros datos alojados están ejerciendo sobre los recursos tecnológicos y energéticos que sostienen nuestras instancias.
Llevo ya mucho tiempo usando esta opción y me ha ido muy bien. En parte, esto me ha permitido valorar fuertemente el instante presente e inmediato en la comunicación entre personas. Además, de tratar ser comprensivo con los administradores de instancias y los recursos que ellos ponen al servicio de la comunidad.
Si en algún momento les interesa probar esta función, los y las invito a descubrirla en la configuración de su cuenta.

Remember to make your #subtitles #ASS... not sure that subtitle is fitting, but in regards to #AI I hope more counteracts have similarly fitting acronyms.
We've been talking about making half of your #toots gibberish, to make fake content meant to confuse #generativeAI, to fill #YouTube with gunk to offset the models even more.
But hardcoding subtitles and making the text subtitles misleading is a way to go.
