I recently got a @trmnl and even developed a private plugin.

So.... I did a thing!
Only took me about 3 hours - not bad for a first try, though. 
It's a private plugin for my @trmnl that shows stats from the @code_stats API!
It's my first private plugin for TRMNL, and I learned a lot while building it. There are a few things that I wish were available to make plugin development easier - maybe that's something for my next blog post? 
Hopefully, I'll be able to publish this plugin at some point. For now, I'm just happy that I got it working!

Here’s the other thing I tried out when toying around with my TRMNL. Designing a webpage for a two-color screen is a fun challenge—like knocking out a good print style sheet!
I got a TRMNL recently and it’s an awesome little device! For me, it’s way more fun than tinkering around with an Arduino and trying to wire up a screen 10 years ago.
Here’s sort of my Hello, World! into to the plugin environment.
Just pre-ordered a @trmnl e-ink display and shortly after discovered that the Swiss government is starting to open-source some of its data, including weather forecast data!
Means I'll be able to create a custom MeteoSwiss plugin :D

Great news so I pre ordered my #trmnl
Folks who are interested in @trmnl might want to seek out an #OpenFrame given the #TRMNL folks are happy for their servers to be used with other devices for a small fee. 
The touch screen on the OpenFrame matches the 800x480 resolution of the TRMNL's #eink display, so with a tiny bit of scripting you can mix TRMNL plugins and whatever full-colour content you may fancy.
My TRMNL is on its way, but I've been using the #OpenFrame to play with the API in the meantime. Great stuff!
