@redhotcyber e la cosa ancor più grave è che stanno ostacolando in tutti i modi le custom #rom con il loro #playintegrityapi che rompe il 90% delle app bancarie e statali!! Spero che un alternativa valida come #ubport incominci a pensare seriamente una strategia per portare investitori e sviluppatori che creino interesse da parte di terze aziende così da sviluppare app per l'ecosistema ma qui stiamo parlando di pura utopia

Nesse período estava vendo as possibilidades de instalar sistema linux também no aparelho celular através do #ubuntutouch ou #ubport parece um tanto interessante.
I just realized that Ubuntu Touch (maintained by @ubports folks) support Fairphone 4 and according to their website, everything works smoothly:

Although I'm not ready to make the leap of faith and install it on my phone (super dependent on some apps on Android like banking and 2FA), I started donating to the ubport foundation. Hopefully in close future after making sure about Waydroid, I switch to it.

ma non avevo niente da perdere, perché avevo già la soluzione del "vecchio telefono con android originale solo per la banca" perché fino a qualche giorno fa avevo un #UbuntuTouch (di #ubport)
forse ho solo fortuna oppure /e/ ha fatto veramente un buon lavoro cercando di cammuffare tutte le sostituzioni che ha fatto.
difficile da dire, per me, non avendo altri casi "commerciali" da risolvere.

Stay on #sailfishos for the moment (everything works and dualboot) but if the port can't be update, ubport seems to be a good substitution to #android

@toad si si infatti #ubport è ancora molto acerbo anche se pure loro stanno integrando #andbox così da poter installare app android. Anche io volevo provare #sailfishos perché sembra la versione più matura tra tutte le alternative ad android
È previsto per il 10 marzo l'aggiornamento di #UbuntuTouch da parte di #ubport

En un grupo de telegram colgaron una foto del ensamblaje de los #Pinephone de #UBport. Es el teléfono que viene con #GNUlinux por defecto.
Al caer en que nativamente al no ser #android ya no van las apps de fdroid pienso que hay que ponerse las pilas apoyando a #Pine64 y hacer no solo diseños especificos para pantallas pequeñas sino que el móvil puede ser nuestro mejor caballo de Troya y traer a mas gente a la #culturalibre

I just switched my #fairphone 2 running Ubuntu Touch to the `dev` release channel to get the recently integrated #mir and #unity8, it was a painless experience and no new bugs so far (24h test at the moment).
The Ubuntu Touch experience is very pleasant and, like Firefox OS, I *love* the edge gestures. Which have been pushed even more far with UT. It's awesome.

À la #fnac, ils en vendent des téléphones non "intelligent" avec expositions :-)
