The German city of Bühl created "Palim! Palim!" as a platform on top of . The feedback they received is encouraging:

@f2k1de well ... I think that is one of the main ideas about decentralized platforms: and the more the merrier ... : )

The more in numbers, the wider spread and the more diverse the local instances become, the better and stronger the network will be.

@3rik @fsfe Ideally they'd also start contributing back. I guess even small sums of funding would make a difference.

I agree and Stadt Bühl as well:
