A pair of red kites in view for much of my walk this morning. Seemed to be staying consistently lower than they often do - offering good views.

Red Kite - large bird of prey flying left to right - seen with wings on down beat. Brown body upper side of wings , grey to head with yellow hooked beak and greater orange colouration to tail (fork in tail not visible here)
Red Kite - gliding left to right. Rufus brown body streaked with black, grey to head with yellow hooked beak and eye. Distinctive forked tail.
