@BethanyBlack and minerals. e.g. the dishwasher has a solely mineral based 'detergent', while my dishwashing detergent has plant and mineral derived constituents. I prefer to hand wash, but I specifically sought a dishwashing machine which uses less water and energy than I use when hand washing.
