@schestowitz "Open source" for a CEO is the same as "organic vegan kosher tomato" is to a hipster. They're marketable trigger words. Microsoft just spent $7.5 billion dollars on acquiring GitHub. They want to become synonymous with "Open Source" instead of Linux. This way, they can sell more service-based, web dependent software without actually having to change much. They're hoping to get the idea of good intention across without actually following through and hope no one notices.

@schestowitz And what they do open source, you'll still have to use the W10 system just like how Visual Basic is with making Linux programs. It read wouldn't shock me in the least if "people demanding more open source blah blah blah" is just Micro$oft paying off people instead of taking responsibility with legitimate advertising.
