@_manpat@mastodon.social i'm still very much learning, like, i literally just opened up a few tabs, started reading, and have a grammar cheatsheet and a dictionary printed out
from this i can work my way through most of what i read so far
that said, you're the second person to reply with "jan kawele o, kama pona!", which i understand as "gaeel, please come talk!", but maybe i'm mistaken?
does that phrase in particular mean something special?

@gaeel I'm not that much further than you tbh, I'm only ~3 days of actually learning in :p

"kama pona" roughly translates to "welcome" - it literally translates to something like "to come well/good"

"<x> o" is more or less what you interpreted it as - it's an exclamation or for calling attention
