If you're using Bridgy Fed to bridge your Mastodon account over to Bluesky, is there a way to take ownership of the resulting Bluesky account Bridgy Fed creates? E.g., what if a different, better bridge comes along, or a bridge gets built into Mastodon itself or Bluesky itself? Would you have to start over and lose the followers you gathered that Bluesky account Bridgy Fed created? #fediverse
Don't think so, because it's a bot that basically copies your timeline to the other network.
@arossp Yes you would have to start over. Same if you move to another instance or change your handle.
There's a ton of limitations because of how different ActivityPub and ATProto work.
