[UPDATE: Fixed 12.9” (should have been iPad Air, NOT MacBook Air)]
"Gurman: No Apple Event Planned for Upcoming iPads and Macs"
- M3 MacBook Air
- 2 iPad Pro
- 2 iPad Air (one is 12.9”)
- New Magic Keyboard
- New Apple Pencil
Rumored. Coming end of the month.
Interesting that this is not enough for a live event. All of it is speed bumpy, not a new product, per se?

@davemark I think it is the right decision but at the same time I feel that Apple is moving more and more away from its Steve Jobs era. Keynotes were one of Steve's mark.
Oled iPad Pro *should* be a big deal. Curious why not…
@kraigschmidt Could also be that Gurman is wrong about that specific point. My experiences that he’s usually right though.
@davemark I’d like to see an iPad mini with thinner bezels and Face ID. I also have an 11 inch iPad Pro, but the iPad mini is what I use almost every day.
@mcelhearn Same. Love my iPad mini. Still going strong.
@mcelhearn @davemark My current iPad Pro is more than sufficient. Would much more prefer to see updated iPad mini as Kirk described + M series chip at his point. But I guess the profit margins are higher on the larger iPads.
@WarnerCrocker @mcelhearn Yeah, same. An M-class mini upgrade would be great. Short term, I’ve got my eye on an M3 MacBook Air to replace my Intel MacBook Pro.
@davemark Don’t get it, more than enough for an event
