For those new or newer to downballot fundraising for Democrats, here’s some background. It has become increasingly obvious that Democratic chief executives - Presidents and Governors - need Democratic controlled state legislatures to achieve results. In the states we need Democratic AGs and state Secs of State. Locally, we need Dem county executives and councilors and Dem mayors, Dem town councils, Dem school boards. 1/
