@arstechnica comments section (on Ars) to PR pieces like this openly shows why a convicted felon ends up running US, lots of people are so far entrenched in the "previledged class" now they don't care what happens to anyone below them, only worries about protection of the elites on top of them so their own wealth and previledges continue.
