Sometimes, almost out of nowhere, photographic magic just happens 
I love this – the stark angles & textures of the monochrome chiaroscuro, broken almost perfectly by a whiskered ball of fluffy colour

Perfection. I do so love shadows and angles. It's why I prefer B&W.
@kfanyo Thanks – I thought about rendering this one in b&w and may well yet do so. But I love the way that everything in the shot is already monochrome except our cat – the juxtaposition works well, I think.

I set it as a wallpaper to see how it would look and I love the way his head is in front of the time digits, because of course a cat would be in front of useful info! :-)
@colinburgess Very cool. I'm going to have to scratch my head (& Tigger's later) to figure out how that separation of the planes on either side of the clock numbers happened ... 
@markmccaughrean it’s really quite impressive when you think about it. I selected the photo to insert and it automatically selected the cat as foreground subject, centered the zoom on it, edge detected the outline of the cat and slide the digits behind. Cudos to the team that put that much attention to detail into the design.
