Haha, oh yes. In every "show your desktop" thread the "hacking guys" with their tiling wms are showing htop, ls, df and maybe a successful update process over command line. Don't forget the lynx browser, neofetch and an opened config file in vim

@nixCraft No joke, right now I’m switching back to Linux and my girlfriend saw btop running in a terminal and an expression of genuine concern falls over her face.

She asks “What’s that? Is everything ok?” and I’m like, “Yep just checking resource utilization.” A few seconds later she remembered we’d had this same conversation yesterday. I was running Linux.

She’s smartly avoiding the rest of that conversation today.
